Many of the shiny people know that you long to look exactly like they do and lead replicas of their lives, and that’s why so many famous folk are writing lifestyle books.

Big bucks branding? Don’t be silly. They do this out of the goodness of their unlined, fat-free little hearts.

Jessica Alba took a mighty swing — inadvertently or otherwise — at Gwyneth Paltrow this week over whose advice makes more sense to the little people.

In a chat about her new book, The Honest Life, Alba said, “Alicia Silverstone is a vegan, so she’s the extreme side of it. Gwyneth Paltrow probably lives a very similar lifestyle, but I didn’t grow up with a bunch of money, so my tips are much more grounded: repurposing things and making things at home.”
