It was a Beverly Hills, 90210 reunion of sorts after Jason Priestley took aim at QMI Agency after we published a story about the star's new memoir.

In it, he criticizes co-star Shannen Doherty for her allegedly bratty behaviour, saying that she began behaving badly before the 1990s show had even begun to air.

Priestley specifically took issue with our headline "Priestley unloads on Shannen Doherty in memoir," and he responded swiftly via Twitter, saying: "I do not "unload" on Shannen in my memoir... Shannen's departure from the show was a sad event for me..."

In an excerpt of his book Jason Priestley: A Memoir, published in Us Weekly magazine, he recalls taking a private flight with her from Los Angeles to New York to meet with advertisers, only for Doherty to reportedly complain during the whole journey.

He writes, “I could not believe my ears at Shannen’s very first words after she boarded. Her butt had barely hit her seat before she said loudly to the PR person, ’Really? A town car? You send a town car to take me to the airport, not a limo?’ She sighed a very put-upon sigh. I laughed, as I couldn’t really tell if Shannen was kidding or not.

“But that was just the beginning. I looked on, becoming more uneasy by the minute as she began bitching about the short notice and the food on board and the temperature in the cabin and everything else.”

Shannen Doherty also responded to our story and to Priestley on Twitter, stating that "Everyone has their own version of the truth. Jason is a great guy who I wish well and remember fondly."
