Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas are giving their marriage another try after the Hollywood actor moved back into the family home, according to a U.K. report.
The pair shocked fans by announcing it was splitting in August after 13 years of marriage. Douglas downplayed rumours they were heading for divorce by insisting the marriage trouble was a "temporary situation" while keeping his wedding ring firmly on his finger.
Now it has been claimed by editors at Britain's The Sun that Zeta-Jones has allowed the Fatal Attraction star to return to their property in New York, where she has been living with their two children, Dylan and Carys.
A source tells the publication, "Michael's asked Catherine to give things another try and she's agreed. It's not just for the sake of the children.
"When they're good they're amazing together, so they're hammering out their issues at their home. It's good news and Catherine is on top of the world."
The news comes after the Welsh beauty was spotted wearing her wedding rings again at a gala in New York on Sunday. The beauty attended the New York Dance Alliance Foundation Gala at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, where she was honoured with the Ambassador for the Arts Award.
Before the separation, both stars had suffered turbulent times, with Douglas undergoing treatment for stage four throat cancer, while Zeta-Jones received professional treatment for her ongoing battle with bipolar disorder.
