Supermodel Cara Delevingne has a new showbusiness pal - she accompanied Miley Cyrus to an Amsterdam cannabis cafe on Friday.

Cyrus is in the Netherlands preparing for her performance at the MTV Europe Music Awards on Sunday and she visited the Greenhouse coffeeshop with DJ Afrojack on Thursday.

The Wrecking Ball singer returned for a second visit late on Friday night and onlookers were stunned to she her walking into the bar with British catwalk beauty Delevingne.

The pair reportedly arrived at the coffeeshop, where marijuana can be legally consumed, just after 11pm and stayed for two hours.

The Greenhouse is a popular cannabis cafe among celebrities visiting the Dutch city - previous visitors to the bar include rapper Snoop Dogg and pop stars Rihanna and Katy Perry.

Cyrus has previously said that she thinks alcohol is more dangerous than marijuana.

"I think alcohol is way more dangerous than marijuana. People can be mad at me for saying that, but I don't care. I've seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I've never seen that happen with weed," she said.

Cyrus hid her face from view as she left the venue. The pop star is clearly a fan of the cannibis cafe, as she was also spotted there 24 hours earlier with friends. (Will Alexander/WENN.com)
