Actor Charlie Sheen took a sly swipe at his former Anger Management co-star Selma Blair during a U.S. TV interview on Wednesday, when he referred to her as "Slima".

The actress departed the show last June, during its second season, following rumours of a bitter feud with Sheen.

Reports at the time suggested Blair complained to producers about the star's behaviour on set, prompting him to dump her from the cast and take aim at her in an expletive-ridden text message.

She was replaced by How I Met Your Mother regular Laura Bell Bundy in August, and it appears Sheen still holds a grudge against the Cruel Intentions star.

During an interview on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Sheen purposely slipped in an insult to the actress, stating, "Laura Bell Bundy, who has replaced Slima, I'm sorry, Selma Blair... has just elevated the show to a whole different level."

The fall-out continued to rumble on behind the scenes - Blair threatened legal action against Anger Management's bosses in September, demanding $1.2 million in lost wages for the episodes she was set to appear in at the time of her dismissal. It is not yet known if the payment issue has been settled.
