Paul Simon has been arrested following an incident with his wife in Connecticut, according to police.

The 72-year-old Grammy-Award winner and his partner, Edie Brickell - from the band New Bohemians, were both charged with disorderly conduct on Saturday night after an apparent domestic dispute at their home in New Canaan.

Folk singer Brickell, 48, is best known for the hit "What I Am" from the 1988 debut album "Shooting Rubberbands at the Stars," with the New Bohemians. More recently, she recorded a Grammy-winning album with comedian Steve Martin.

The pair were married in 1992 and have three children together.

There were no details surrounding the incident, and representatives for Simon had no comment.

They are both scheduled to appear at Norwalk Superior Court on Monday.
