Justin Bieber just can’t stay out of trouble.
The Los Angeles Police Dept. said they are investigating the 20-year-old singer from Stratford, Ont. in connection with an alleged attempted robbery that took place in the San Fernando Valley.
The incident stems from a run-in Bieber had with a San Fernando Valley woman at the Sherman Oaks Castle Park, according to TMZ.
The woman, along with her 13-year-old daughter, saw Bieber and his entourage playing mini-golf and then got into an altercation with some of his crew after Bieber saw her trying to pull out her phone to take photos.
The woman told the gossip site she refused to give over her phone to Bieber. She then alleges he reached into her purse and grabbed it.
Bieber began to wrestle with the woman for the phone, at which point he ripped the phone out of her hands, and demanded she unlock the phone so he could delete the photos.
“You’re humiliating yourself in front of your daughter" Bieber reportedly told the woman. "Why don’t you just get out of here.” he continued, making her daughter cry in the process.
Bieber hasn’t been arrested, but has been accused of the attempted robbery by the woman, according to the LAPD.
The police went to the woman’s house to take a report after she lodged a complaint on Tuesday, TMZ said.
