Rapper Snow on Rob Ford: 'Me and him are cool'

Snow - the rapper - met with Rob Ford - the mayor - on Thursday at City Hall.

The Toronto born musician, who's real name is Darrin O'Brien, made headlines back in 1992 when his song Informer topped the charts.

"I'm glad I met him because he seems like a real nice guy," Snow said after meeting with Ford inside the mayor's office. "I love what he's doing.

"Me and him are cool."

Asked if he supports Ford being re-elected, Snow said, "of course I am."

"(My father and my brother) they say he's doing, you know, a lot for the black community," he said.

The two talked about "life" rather than politics, Snow said.

"I'm told him I used to drink heavily too, so I quit in '97 so talking about that, you know he quit," he said. "You've got to live
