What did you think of 'New Moon'?
Thu, November 19, 2009
Twihard fans have been salivating over it for months, and now it's finally here. Our critic thought it was silly and sloppy. What do you think of the "Twilight" sequel? Does it live up to the hype?

Read the full review:

'New Moon' barely watchable

Nobody over the age of 12 could possibly love this film!!!

Just saw it.... it was BORING as hell! A complete waste of time, which was disappointing because the first one was actually pretty good.

I watched it after reading the first novel and my only reaction was "Kristen Stewart" has to be the worst actress on the planet. First movie was better, but she's only tolerable. Movie goers probably go out of curiosity more than anything. Greatly disappointing.

My daughter made me watch this with her... painful. At the very least. I'd rather go through natural childbirth again than watch this for a 2nd time. This is 2 hours of your life you'll never get back. Don't say I never warned you. ;)

a load of garbage. last time i watch a movie based on the hype

Barely watchable? I couldn't take my eyes off it! Go read the book buddy and then make a sound judgement! Too bad for you.

You guys at the sun are the most horrifying reviewers ever...any movie over the years good or bad disagrees what you and your bunch of twits think. The movie choices are up to the audience. We are all different and why should we listen to a bunch of one person opions..

I was VERY impressed with this movie!! It fallowed the book very well (Although there was a few key points in the book that they left out) I am very unhappy with the artical Canoe has posted saying how the movie is barely watchable....it was MUCH better than the first one. Whoever wrote this must not have read the books because this movie is a very good representation of it.

P.S The shirtless warwolves was a GREAT show!!!

To use the most cliche pop culture reference of all time:

Worst. Movie. Ever.

Granted, the source material is almost as bad. Now, to be fair, the throngs of 10-14 year old girls leaving the theatre were excited and happy with it. But if you're one of the poor adults chaperoning your children this weekend, bring a book.

I am actually glad they did not go overboard with digital slow-mo changling effects (with the bigger budget), and enjoyed the film for what it was worth. Good vampire entertainment without tons of gore. Too much shirtlessness? You bet! Buy that kinda gets even for all those skimpy bra and bikinied babes used in movies thought the years. Did we really need those also? No. Enjoyed it, and will see the next one also.
