Steve Earle's country rocker son Justin Townes Earle was arrested on Thursday night after trashing a dressing room following a disastrous gig.

The angry singer/songwriter spent the night in an Indianapolis, Indiana jail after losing his cool backstage at a club called Radio Radio.

Earle hurled abuse at hecklers and then stormed offstage after a fan threw his shirt at the headliner.

He then reportedly trashed his room, which led to venue bosses pressing charges for assault and battery.

According to Spinner.com, the jail stint led to Earle missing a radio appearance in Louisville.

The defiant star has since taken to Twitter.com to address the bad gig, raging, "Radio Radio in Indy and all its staff can kiss my f**king a**!"
