Country singer Randy Travis has stepped up a legal spat with his ex-wife by filing a lawsuit accusing her of damaging his career by spreading gossip about him.
The star divorced his wife and manager Elizabeth in 2010 and they went to war after Travis ended their professional relationship last year, with Elizabeth suing him for breach of contract for allegedly firing her without written notice.
Travis has now filed his own lawsuit against his former partner, accusing her of attempting to sabotage his career by revealing "personal details" about him, according to TMZ.com.
The singer also alleges Elizabeth claimed over-inflated travel expenses and he is asking a judge to stop his ex-wife from receiving a management cut from his future work projects.
