Country singer Taylor Swift thrilled fans on Monday by premiering her new single during a live web chat.

The Love Story hitmaker teamed up with bosses at Google+ and YouTube for the question and answer session with a select group of fans in Nashville, Tenn., which was broadcast on the internet.

During the 25 minute chat, Swift spoke about her life and career, but she brought the meet to a close by announcing a special surprise.

She told fans, “There’s something I really, really, really wanna do. I have a new single that I really wanna premiere officially right now if that’s cool with you guys.”

Responding to audience cheers, she joked, “I was hoping you would say that because I didn’t really have a Plan B.”

Swift then added, “I really wanna say thank you to everyone at Google and everyone at YouTube for doing this... this is crazy and wonderful so thank you for setting all this up. This is the new single and this is a really, really romantic song. It’s really touching and sensitive and it’s a really romantic song that’s to my lovely ex-boyfriend. It’s called We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together and I hope you like it.”

The song then played and Swift mouthed the words to the track as her fans clapped and swayed along.

Swift is releasing her fourth studio album, called Red, on Oct. 22.
