Oscar statuettes won't be on the line, just bragging rights, when a glittering list of stars from stage and screen strap on the skis for the annual Fairmont Banff Springs Celebrity Sports Invitational, Jan. 18-21.

A number of A-listers will trade California sunshine for Rocky Mountain chill, including host committee members Alec Baldwin, Marcia Gay Harden and Tim Robbins.

Last year's event raised in excess of $1 million for the Waterkeeper Alliance environmental organization founded by Robert Kennedy Jr.

Celebs will spend two days testing their mettle on the slopes of Sunshine Village.

"Sunshine Village is again pleased to host Hollywood and the growing environmental charity Mr. Kennedy founded and leads," said Sunshine Village president Ralph Scurfield.

Other celebrities attending include astronaut Buzz Aldrin, 1976 Olympic gold medallist Bruce Jenner, and actors Jason Priestley, John Schneider, Kelsey Grammer, Woody Harrelson, Virginia Madsen and Beau Bridges.

Tickets are available for a Jan. 20 celebrity dinner at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, with the evening also including an auction featuring 1970s rock icon Peter Frampton.

Tickets for the gala, which cost $500 per person or $10,000 for gold table seating, can be purchased by calling the Fairmont Banff Springs.

All Sunshine events are free to the public.
