Bill Nighy coming to T.O. film fest
By -- Sun Media

Bill Nighy is coming to the Toronto International Film Festival.

The British actor, best-known for Love, Actually and his Pirates of The Caribbean role, said yesterday that he'll be here in September for the premiere of the Stephen Poliakoff film, Glorious 39.

"It's a conspiracy thriller with Romola Garai, Juno Temple, Julie Christie and David Tennant -- an incredible cast," said Nighy, "I know it's going to be premiered at the film festival, and people are very, very pleased with it."

The film is a period piece set in 1939, as war looms over Europe. The stellar cast includes Eddie Redmayne, Christopher Lee, Hugh Bonneville, Jenny Agutter and Jeremy Northam, and a lot of the fuss about the film is that it's Poliakoff's (Close My Eyes) first film in a decade.

Nighy is currently promoting G-Force, the upcoming 3D animated feature from Disney that opens July 24. He and Zach Galifianakis star alongside characters voiced by Nicolas Cage, Penelope Cruz, Tracy Morgan and Steve Buscemi, among others.
