Taylor-Wood engaged to boy toy

Director Sam Taylor-Wood is to wed the teenage actor she cast to star in a movie about John Lennon's childhood.

The 42 year old sparked speculation she was dating 19-year-old Aaron Johnson when she stepped out with him on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival in France in May to promote film Nowhere Boy.

Now the pair has taken its relationship to the next level - a spokesperson for Taylor-Wood and Johnson has confirmed they are "very happy" with their engagement.

Taylor-Wood split from her art dealer husband Jay Jopling last year.
