VANCOUVER -- The house in West Vancouver that portayed the home of the Cullen vampire clan in the new movie The Twilight Saga: New Moon went on sale a few days ago.
The posting on local realtor Jason Soprovich's website has received more than 50,000 hits and has garnered worldwide attention.
"It's been absolutely incredible," Soprovich said of interest in the Arthur Erickson-designed property.
So much so that his website almost crashed.
Featuring an outdoor pool and hot tub, the three-floor pad at 118 Stevens Dr. is currently listed for $3.3 million.
The home plays an important role in New Moon, setting the scene for Bella's ill-fated birthday party.
Shortly after the house was listed, Soprovich was contacted by TMZ, followed by celebrity blogger Perez Hilton and media giant CNN.
While Soprovich said the exposure has thus far been "fantastic for the house," he has been less than thrilled with the gaggle of teenage girls phoning in.
"They didn't want to buy at all, they just wanted to sleep there for a few days," he said.
Such Twihards hoping to catch a glimpse of the residence where Rob Pattinson once tread should note that only serious buyers will snag a house-viewing.
"It's pretty simple to weed out whose looking for the sake of looking," Soprovich said.
