Porn star Janine Lindemulder has reached out to Sandra Bullock in a desperate bid to end the pair's public battle over TV daredevil Jesse James' five-year-old daughter.

James and Bullock were given primary custody of his child by Lindemulder at the beginning of 2009 when she was jailed for tax evasion, and the adult film star has been fighting to get her daughter back ever since her release.

In court on Monday, a judge denied a request to expand visitation rights to James' ex-wife, but allowed her to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with her daughter, Sunny.

Lindemulder has weekly visitation rights with her daughter but only during daylight hours.

Days before the latest court battle, Lindemulder went public with her feelings about her daughter's stepmother, telling Life & Style magazine she felt Bullock is "doing a great job," adding, "Sandra's organised and focused, and I'm pretty much the opposite. She packs perfect lunches. She thinks of every little detail from sunblock to sanitary wipes and the perfect amounts of food. I can't compete. If I could wish any stepmom for my daughter, it would be Sandra.

"I applaud her for the way she's taken over these past six months. She's done a wonderful job with Sunny. There's a lot I can learn from Sandra, and Sandra can learn from me. I'd do some things differently."

But she told the publication there's still some way to go before she'll give up fighting for more visitation rights with her child: "I'm not going anywhere. I want us all to be on the same page. Sandra and Jesse want all or nothing.

"Let's all get along and put our own issues aside. We've got another 13 years that we've got to deal with each other.

"I'm not saying I'm the best mother in the world... (but) I've got love to give her."
