After counting up your votes from our action-hero showdown, the Governator aka Arnold Schwarzenegger has been crowned the most kick-ass star by Canoe readers.
Arnie pounded Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson in round one, then went on to pummel Bruce Willis and newbie Jason Statham before kicking Sly Stallone’s ass in our final.
In his 30-plus years in Hollywood, Schwarzenegger has racked up an impressive action filmography starring in a string of hits in the ‘80s and ‘90s. Following Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines in 2003, Arnold took a hiatus from acting to become a politico.
But now he’s back with action-packed roles in The Expendables 2 and next year's The Last Stand, The Tomb (opposite Sylvester Stallone) and Breacher.
