Rachel McAdams and Noomi Rapace appear in a flirty, erotic thriller sort of trailer that hints at the connection between getting ahead and getting it on. But there are suggestions of betrayal here, so what looks like passion might just be business as usual? Brian De Palma's first feature in 5 years. GRADE B+.
NOBODY WALKS
An artist who is the guest of a family in Los Angeles has a sexual energy that shakes up the lives of her hosts. This looks like intense indie fare, but the cast, which includes Olivia Thirlby, John Krasinksi and Rosemarie DeWitt, may well save the day. Love from the POV of people in different stages of life. GRADE: B
