Clooney's rep denies split   Play video

A spokesperson for George Clooney has denied a new report suggesting the actor has split from Stacy Keibler.

The Descendants star, who began dating the former WWE wrestler in July 2011, was said to have called time on his romance after spending the summer with Keibler at his home in Lake Como, Italy.

According to Britain's The Sun, Clooney "pulled away" from Keibler because he "got cold feet again about settling down".

However, a representative for Clooney has now spoken out to set the record straight, calling the story a "total fabrication designed to sell newspapers".

Clooney's rep tells GossipCop.com, "A story published by a London tabloid, The Sun, concerning George Clooney and Stacy Keibler is not true."
