Bridesmaids star Melissa McCarthy is considering joining The Hangover franchise after she was reportedly offered a role in the upcoming third movie.
Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis are currently filming the third installment in the comedy series and it has now emerged McCarthy could be joining the cast.
The actress, who was nominated for an Oscar for her comedic performance in 2011's Bridesmaids, is said to be in talks with producers to secure a small part in the Todd Phillips film.
McCarthy is reportedly attempting to fit the job in with her schedule for her TV show Mike & Molly, according to Variety.com.
John Goodman is also said to have landed a role in The Hangover Part III, along with Heather Graham, who co-starred in the first film.
