Foxx says 'Django' a 'perfect 10'

NEW YORK -- Jamie Foxx, who plays an Antebellum slave who evolves into an outlaw avenging angel in Django Unchained, says that Quentin Tarantino's film had the entire African-American community on edge while in production.
"Let's be honest," Foxx says now about the agitation and anticipation. "Black folks were holding their breath when this movie was about to drop!"
Now that Django Unchained has finished its round of premieres and sneak peeks, Foxx says, those same folks can exhale and smile. "When you see it, you're like: 'WOW!' It was so amazing. It was entertainment. You could breath easier."
Talking at a press conference led by Tarantino, Foxx found a unique metaphor for the degree of difficulty Tarantino faced while creating Django Unchained.
