Jack Reacher fans are angry over the casting of the character in the new movie, which is also called Jack Reacher.

I know because I have heard from them since trashing the filmmakers for casting Tom Cruise as the hard-boiled, rogue crime investigator from Lee Child's 17 novels. No one who loves the books thinks that the diminutive Cruise should have been chosen to play a man who is a six-foot-five giant with the sculpted body of a Greek god.

So that got us thinking: Who else has been wrongly cast as an action hero?
