When it comes to his career, John Krasinski claims mother knows best.
The actor, 33, says his mom totally supported his decision to try acting instead of pursuing his original goal of English teacher.
"She said, 'The only thing I ask is that if in two and a half or three years, if you haven't had a bite, if there's not the feeling you could really do this, you've got to pull yourself out. Because as your mother, I could never ask you to give up on your dreams.'"
Sure enough, Krasinski was ready to quit at the two and a half year mark. "And it was my mom who said, 'You know, there are a few more months left to the year. Just stick it out.' And three weeks later I got The Office. So my mom kept me in the game.
