Katy Perry has been named the hottest woman of 2013 just four days into the new year.
The I Kissed A Girl star saw off competition from Hollywood actress Mila Kunis to clinch top spot on a list of the 100 Hottest Women of 2013 by America's Men Health magazine.
Editors at the publication cite Perry's career successes and her bounce back from the breakdown of her marriage to Russell Brand as factors in their decision to fete her with their top title, writing, "She took a bad breakup and turned it into the raw material of the year's most successful album, Teenage Dream... Hell, her Twitter following alone is four times the population of New York City... Nobody, including us, could get enough of Perry this year. And for that reason, she is our sexiest woman of 2013."
Black Swan star Kunis came in at number two, while voluptuous Mad Men star Christina Hendricks was at three and The Hunger Games' Jennifer Lawrence at four.
Former Friends star Jennifer Aniston took fifth spot after previously being honoured with the magazine's title of Sexiest Woman Of All-time.
Other honourees in the top 10 include Scarlett Johansson, Angelina Jolie and Beyonce, while Jennifer Lopez was a lowly entry at number 72, just one spot above pregnant British royal Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge at 73.
Actress Kristen Stewart was another low entry at 89 ahead of pop superstar Lady Gaga at 93.
