Josh Brolin rang in the New Year in a police cell after he was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on Tuesday.
The actor was partying with friends in Santa Monica, Calif. on New Year's Day when he was allegedly discovered drunk in the street.
He was led away by cops shortly before midnight and booked into a jail cell shortly after 3 a.m. local time on Wednesday. Brolin was released later that morning.
The actor was not given a citation for the arrest so he will not have to attend court or face any charges, according to TMZ.com.
