We have seen the Energizer bunny -- and her name is Julianne Hough.
Hough and Josh Duhamel were in Toronto yesterday to promote Safe Haven, their new love story/thriller movie from writer Nicholas Sparks (The Notebook). Safe Haven opens here, appropriately, on Valentine's Day.
In Safe Haven, Hough stars as a woman on the run from an abusive past. She winds up in a small town and finds love with Duhamel's character, but her past cannot be left behind.
The actress, 24, has said recently that she could identify with her character in Safe Haven because she experienced abuse during her early years of dance training in England. When she was 10, Hough and her brother left the family home in Utah and were sent to learn competitive ballroom and Latin dance in London.
