Every year, we all hope against hope that the Oscar broadcast will be marvellous!
And every year we are are wrong. It's tough to limit what Oscar got wrong to fewer than a thousand things, but here are five of the contenders for most egregious moves of the night:
1) The official schedule for this bun fight called for the last award to be handed over at 10 minutes to midnight. Ha, ha. Somebody in TV land believes viewers have an infinite capacity for boredom, apparently.
