Jennifer Lawrence's big night at the Academy Awards was nearly ruined when she tripped on the stairs at the ceremony.
But the Best Actress winner picked herself up and carried on.
She says of the incident, "I tried to walk up stairs in this dress... I think I just stepped on the fabric and they waxed the stairs... What went through my mind when I fell down? A bad word that I can't say that starts with F."
The 22-year-old added preparing for the day was so stressful she didn't have time to grab a bite to eat.
“The Silver Linings Playbook” star hit the red carpet for Hollywood's biggest night after a busy morning at home, and admits she didn't get her fast food fix before squeezing into her designer Dior gown.
The Best Actress Oscar winner explains, "The process was so stressful. I felt like Steve Martin in Father of the Bride watching my house just be torn apart, and my whole family was getting ready. I mean, my friends stopped by. It was kind of fun, but it was mostly chaotic.
"I had no time to eat. I just woke up and tried on a dress, and it fit, thank God, and then I took a shower and... then I got my hair and make-up done, and then I came to the Oscars."
