Movie sequels no one asked for

We don't support retroactively altering movies after release -- that's a George Lucas maneuver, and we'll never forgive him for it -- but exceptions must be made now and then. In this case, for The Last Exorcism.

Not for the movie itself, mind you, just its title. Because apparently The Last Exorcism was, in fact, not.

With The Last Exorcism II releasing this week, should the first movie now be called The Second Last Exorcism, or The Penultimate Exorcism, or maybe An Exorcism Near the End of Many Other Exorcisms, But Not the Last Exorcism, Per Se?

And who actually wanted a sequel to this movie in the first place? There was nothing wrong with the first film - as found footage horror movies go (of which roughly a million were made in 2010 alone) it was pretty good - but it was a nice, self-contained tale that ended violently and decisively.

Still, The Last Exorcism II isn't anywhere close to being the most unnecessary sequel we've seen. Here are five other flicks that should have left well enough alone.
