In Dead Man Down, Noomi (rhymes with "homey") Rapace plays a beautician who enlists the aid of gang enforcer Colin Farrell to seek retribution against the drunk driver who left her both physically and emotionally mutilated.
And, like Lisbeth Salander, the character with the cropped jet-black hair and pierced nose and eyebrows she played in the original Swedish/Danish Dragon Tattoo film and its two sequels, her latest portrayal shares a lot with the actress' personal views on the notion of beauty.
"For women all over the world it's so important to be beautiful," complains the undeniably beautiful 33-year-old of Swedish and Spanish extraction.
