Baz Luhrmann in talks to direct 'Kung Fu' adaptation

Filmmaker Baz Luhrmann is reportedly in talks to direct a big screen adaption of Kung Fu.

Late actor David Carradine played Shaolin monk Kwai Chang Caine in the martial arts U.S. TV series from 1972 to 1975.

If Luhrmann signs on, he would reportedly rewrite the script from XXX scribe Rich Wilkes before filming, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
