There's something about Cameron.

Everybody has a favourite Cameron Diaz movie moment, and when The Other Woman opens in theatres today it will no doubt top somebody's list for best-ever Diaz scenes.

The Other Woman is a comedy starring Diaz, Leslie Mann and Kate Upton as the women — mistress, wife, lover — who team up to punish the man who's cheating on all of them.

Also in the cast is Nicki "I'm gonna knock you out!" Minaj, who describes working with Diaz as, "A dream come true." Kind of tells you everything you need to know about Cameron Diaz, doesn't it?

Other than the hair gel moment in There's Something About Mary, the most popular movie moment for most Diaz fans usually involves dancing. Diaz is a great dancer, and her moves capture her self-deprecating humour and her gift for physical comedy.

It's an irresistible combo.

The Charlie's Angels movies have a lot of dancing — that happy wake up dance with Heaven Must Be Missing An Angel, the underwear dance; that Soul Train sequence, the Pussy Cat Dolls routine and the Can't Touch This boogie. Hilarious.

Further on the dance front, Diaz jives with Jim Carrey in The Mask, rocks out with Ashton Kutcher in What Happens In Vegas and even does a genteel two-step with Leonardo DiCaprio in Gangs of New York. And yes, there's dancing in The Other Woman.

Here are more great Cameron Diaz movie moments:

• Playing the vamp in that red dress in The Mask, all cleavage and nervous laughter when she first shows up at the bank.

• Her fury as Bridezilla in Very Bad Things, and above all when she has to bash in a groomsman's head so as to preserve her perfect day.

• She is awesome as the foul-mouthed Elizabeth Halsey in Bad Teacher, and the fund-raising car wash — so she can get a breast enhancement — is a standout scene.

• Who can resist Diaz, all fuzzy-haired and wearing bad makeup, as she crawls through the mind of John Malkovich in Being John Malkovich?

• Remember her in a bikini walking by the pool at the old folks' home  after she's gone to live with her grandmother (Shirley MacLaine) in In Her Shoes? With all the blissed-out codgers staring?

• Gambit wasn't a great movie, but Diaz was a cool cowgirl.

• A lot of people claim their favourite Diaz moment is when she's firing a gun and speeding along on a motorcycle with Tom Cruise in Knight and Day, or driving the car (again with Tom Cruise) with murderous intent in Vanilla Sky.

• How about when she shaves her head in My Sister's Keeper?

• We happen to think Diaz is underrated as a dramatic actress, so one of our favourite movie moments is the knife-throwing scene with a deranged Daniel Day-Lewis in Gangs Of New York. We like the way she keeps her cool.

• In another serious role, she shows off an interesting gymnastic move on the windshield of a Ferrari while Javier Bardem looks on in disbelief in The Counselor. But maybe you had to be there.

• Our very fave Cameron Diaz movie moment is when she sings I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself at the karaoke bar in My Best Friend's Wedding. No matter how off-key she is, her heart and her courage come through loud and clear.

The message there? Sucks to be Julia Roberts.
