HOLLYWOOD -- Intrigue on the Internet. Call up a Nicolas Cage web page on the Internet and you'll read rumors of marital problems.

Patricia Arquette, who Cage married in 1995, has personally read the stories of marital discord.

"When Nick and I attended the Golden Globes in January, I snuck out for a cigarette. A couple of friends followed me out essentially to commiserate," recalls Arquette.

"I assured them everything was fine, but I could see they weren't buying it.

"A couple of weeks later, someone confided they'd read the rumors on the Internet. We've just bought a new home that's much too big for a bachelor pad."

Arquette says she and Cage have found a formula to help keep their marriage on track.

"We sleep together every night we can. The only exception is when one of us is on location and even then the other person tries to be there whenever possible."
