Newcomer Hayley Atwell has landed the female lead role in Woody Allen's next film project, Production Weekly reports.
The actress, whose credits include small roles in the TV series' "Whatever Love Means" and "The Line of Beauty," will star alongside Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor in the as-yet-untitled film.
Allen will direct the film about two brothers with serious financial problems who turn to a life of crime that makes them enemies.
The movie will begin shooting this summer in London.
Atwell has several film projects lined up, including the indie flicks "Ruby in the Smoke" and "Fear of Fanny."
