The ultra-violent '70s revenge classic "Walking Tall" is getting the remake treatment.
The 1973 original starred Joe Don Baker as club-swinging southern lawman Buford Pusser with a single-minded determination to clean up his jurisdiction, which is overrun by gamblers and moonshiners, The Hollywood Reporter said.
