The director of the upcoming Drew Barrymore-Ben Stiller black comedy "Duplex" has been evicted.
The New York Post said production hadn't even started on the film before director Greg Mottola (of the sitcom "Undeclared") was shown the door.
Officially, the director and production went their separate ways "mutually and amicable," the paper said.
"Duplex" tells the story of a yuppie couple who hatch a murder plot so they can get possession of a choice piece of real estate. A new director is to be announced shortly, The Post said.
