Barely 48 hours after word leaked of her pending divorce from Tom Green, Drew Barrymore was in Montreal, acting out an emotional scene from a marriage.

New York's Daily News said Barrymore is in Montreal working on her co-star George Clooney's directorial debut, "Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind."

Sam Rockwell stars in the fictionalized biography of "Gong Show" host Chuck Barris. The Daily News said Barrymore had to film a scene in which her character, Penny, pleads with Barris to marry her.

The scene "had to be very emotional for her," a source told The Daily News.

Otherwise, Barrymore appeared upbeat, and her cast and crew politely avoided any talk of her relationship with Green. The couple had been married only six months.

Green filed for divorce last week.
