Drew Barrymore is taking a gamble with her next film.

The actress has inked a deal to star with Eric Bana ("Troy," "Hulk") in the dramady "Lucky You," Variety reports.

The film centres on a struggling singer (Barrymore) who hooks up with a professional poker player (Bana) as he collides with his estranged father at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.

"Lucky You" begins shooting in Las Vegas in March.

Barrymore was last seen in "50 First Dates" with Adam Sandler.
