Halle Berry felled by ear infection
By
Berry was due to receive the Female Star of the Year award at the ShoWest convention of movie exhibitors on Thursday in Las Vegas, but had to cancel when her doctor advised her not to fly. She also had to back out of her role in the HBO drama "Lackawanna Blues," but will remain the project's executive producer. It's the latest setback for 37-year-old Berry, who broke her arm during the filming of "Gothika" last year, and also suffered a head injury on the set of her upcoming film, "Catwoman." Next month, Berry is scheduled to start shooting for "Their Eyes Were Watching God," a made-for-TV movie produced by Oprah Winfrey. A spokesperson for Berry said the actress should be fully recovered by then. |
