WINNIPEG - New York-based film director Paul Borghese came to Winnipeg to talk to strippers, not to gaze at them.
The director behind such direct-to-video efforts as Video Vixens Election Night Special, Borghese decided he didn't want to stay skin-deep on the topic of Canadian exotic dancers. That's why he took the trouble to sit down and chat with the contestants of a Miss Nude Canada pageant at Winnipeg strip club Teasers in the summer of 1997 for his documentary feature The Canadian Ballet.
