Brando to co-star in 'Scary Movie 2'
By JAM! Movies
Marlon Brando, the man who whispered "the horror, the horror" in his "Apocalypse Now" death scene, will spoof the horror genre in the upcoming "Scary Movie 2."

Brando, the star of such storied films as "The Godfather," "On The Waterfront" and "A Streetcar Named" will co-star with Shawn and Marlon Wayans in the upcoming sequel to last summer's hit horror satire "Scary Movie," Dimension Films announced in a press release.

The press release trumpeted Brando's return to the screen as "a wild, comedic turn," and called it his first "flat-out comic role." Brando's most recent screen credits include 1998's "Free Money," 1997's "The Brave" and the 1996 remake of "The Island Of Dr. Moreau," which some might argue was Brando's first true comic role.

Brando, who met with the Wayans brothers and found "a kinship in their brand of comedy," will play a priest who performs an exorcism, the press release said. The film is currently in production and is scheduled to open July 4.
