Marlon ("The Godfather") Brando is being sued by his ex-lover for money she feels she deserves.
E-Online.com reports Maria Cristina Ruiz is suing Brando for more than $100 million for breach-of-contract.
She claims Brando did not honour the promise to financially support her and their children. She also says an agreement was in place to split all property if the couple were to end their relationship or if one of them died.
Ruiz alleges she had three children with the 78-year old actor during their 13 year romance, which ended last December.
Their first daughter, Ninna Priscilla Brando, was born one year after their relationship began.
"You've got people who are living together, in this case with three children involved," Ruiz's lawyer Donald Woldman told E-Online.com. "It's an absurdity to have to file a breach of contract lawsuit, rather than [for divorce]. She just wants to get the division of property she's entitled to."
The Oscar-winning actor has become a recluse in recent years, surfacing only for the occasional well-paying movie.
Much of Brando's fortune was spent on defending his son Christian, who murdered his half-sister's lover, reports E-Online.com.
Brando's last film was 2001's "The Score", starring Robert De Niro and Edward Norton.
