Jordana Brewster

Jordana Brewster ("Fast and the Furious") is in talks to take on Leatherface in a "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" prequel.

Variety reports that Brewster would play one of the kids that encounter the chainsaw-wielding killer.

The movie will reportedly delve into the origin of Leatherface.

A remake of the film, which starred "7th Heaven" beauty Jessica Biel, was released in 2003 and made $80 million at the box office.

"Darkness Falls" helmer Jonathan Liebesman is set to direct with shooting to begin September.
