Rocker Jon Bon Jovi received John Carpenter's blessing to sink his teeth into the sequel to the filmmaker's 1998 horror film Vampires.
"I didn't read the script for the sequel, let alone write it. I just agreed to let them use my name as the film's presenter. That means they have to pay me," says Carpenter.
