Action star Jackie Chan, whose next release will be "Rush Hour 2", has signed on to star in another sequel.

Variety reports that Chan and co-star Owen Wilson have will reprise their roles in the old-West actioner "Shanghai Noon." The sequel has been dubbed "Shanghai Nights". Production will begin in London in February.

As in the original, Chan will portray a skilled Chinese imperial guard and Wilson will play a cowboy. This time, they will travel to England to foil an international plot aimed at destroying both the Chinese and British empires, Variety said.

The original "Shanghai Noon" grossed over $100 million worldwide and also did solid business on home video and DVD, the report said.
