 Don Cheadle

"Crash" star Don Cheadle has been approached to play Miles Davis in a new biopic of the legendary jazz musician, Billboard.com reports.
Davis' family members commented backstage at the trumpeter's posthumous induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last night that Cheadle had been eyed for the part.
Davis' nephew, Vince Wilburn, said: "It could touch on many things (like) the way he changed music in different decades. From Bird (the late saxophonist Charlie Parker) to bebop to hip-hop and in between."
Wilburn also said that that they had been in talks with "Training Day" helmer Antoine Fuqua about directing the film, but said that a script is the first priority.
