John Cleese pens 'Twits' movie

John Cleese will co-write the script for a Disney film based on the Roald Dahl book "The Twits," with Kirk De Micco ("Quest for Camelot"), Variety reports.

The children's illustrated classic is about Mr. and Mrs. Twit, a gruesome couple who play mean practical jokes on each other and their animals. The animals eventually get their revenge and achieve freedom.
