Connery kills own chances of Bond return

The chance of Sean Connery ever appearing in another James Bond filming is looking slimmer.

"Every time we come up with a unique way of bringing Sean into one of our films, he destroys the gimmick by doing it for another film first," explains Bond producer Michael Wilson.

"There was talk of Sean doing a cameo as Bond's father but he did that for Indiana Jones. There was a lot of talk of him coming back as a villain but Sean is now the villain in The Avengers movie.

"Then again, we probably couldn't afford him."
