Crystal clear

HOLLYWOOD -- Billy Crystal, who stars as the lovable one-eyed monster Mike Wazowski in Monsters, Inc., was scheduled to begin a new comedy next week, but that won't happen.

"It's a remake of the 1979 Peter Falk and Alan Arkin comedy The In-Laws that I was meant to do with Michael Douglas.

"Unfortunately, it has a big World Trade Center scene involving terrorists, so it's been indefinitely postponed until it can be rewritten," says Crystal.

In March, he plans to reteam with Robert De Niro and Lisa Kudrow for Analyze That, a sequel to their hit 1999 comedy Analyze This.

"I'm not a huge fan of sequels, but we came up with some great, original material for this one and De Niro is excited, so that excites me."
